Verdi has once again called for a strike in local public transportation this Tuesday!
Munich: Service is severely limited. For buses, about half of the fleet is in operation. They are ensuring basic service citywide on all routes. However, depending on ridership and traffic conditions, significant disruptions may occur. Tram service will operate based on staff availability. As before, Line 20 will be the first to resume service. The subway will initially operate in sections on Line U6 if there are enough drivers.
Further information
Dachau: The strike will take place from the start of service on Tuesday until the starstadtwerket of service on Wednesday, April 15. Therefore, no city buses will run on lines 719, 720, 722, 724, 726, and 744 on Tuesday. Regular service will resume on Wednesday morning.
Further information
Landshut: It is therefore expected that only a few buses will be in service on Tuesday on the Stadtwerke Landshut network. Passengers are asked to use alternative modes of transportation. Route 609 (Old Town – Main Station – Münchnerau – Gündlkoferau) will operate as usual. In addition, the following school and commuter routes will be served: in the morning, routes E10, E28, E29, E33, E34, and E37, and at noon, routes E50, E74, E76, and E77. These routes are operated by Stadtwerke Landshut’s partners and are therefore not affected by the strike.
Further information
Other transportation providers (S-Bahn, trains, regional buses) within the MVV network are NOT affected by the announced warning strike.
